Alpha B Dog Training is renowned for its engaging and flexible group classes, held in our private field, ensuring a safe environment away from public distractions. Each dog is treated individually, with exercises adapted to their specific needs and goals, rather than adhering to a fixed curriculum. These sessions also provide an opportunity for owners to connect with others who share similar interests.We offer puppy classes suitable for dogs unto 12 months old, adult classes suitable for dogs over 6 months old (leaving a window of personal preference 6-12 months of which you find most suitable. Aswel as these we offer a mixed age class suitable for all ages and advanced classes aimed at dogs and owners wanting to gain more polished flashy skills
Obstacle Explore
Discover "Obstacle Explore," a unique group session at Alpha B Dog Training, designed to let your dog explore and conquer obstacles in our field. This activity encourages confidence-building and ensures that your pet has fun in a controlled environment. Dogs are allowed off-lead if they are under adequate control, ensuring a harmonious session for all participants. Our aim is to offer an enjoyable and productive experience for both dogs and owners, fostering skill development in a safe and engaging setting.
Breakfast club
We will convene in Chester city centre for a leisurely stroll around the area, followed by a visit to the flower cup bistro for breakfast. Led by our experienced head trainer, this dog-friendly eatery will provide a perfect setting to practice real-world walking and dining etiquette with your pet.
Exposure Walks
Join Alpha B Dog Training's "Exposure Walk" for a group walking experience that brings dogs and owners together under the guidance of a professional trainer. Conducted in various public environments, our walks are designed to impart essential skills and behaviours, making your daily dog walks smoother and more enjoyable. Our goal is to build neutrality and confidence in dogs, particularly those in need of extra support. By introducing your dog to new surroundings, we teach effective handling strategies for everyday walks and offer solutions for overcoming challenging situations. This service is an excellent way to transition group training into everyday life, reinforcing practical skills that enhance the bond with your pet.
Lure coursing
Lure coursing is an exhilarating activity where dogs chase a mechanically operated lure over a designed course. Utilising a closed loop, this activity is ideal for dogs with a high prey drive and love of running. Each session includes warm-up stretches and a cool-down period to ensure your dog's safety and wellbeing during their vigorous exercise.
Walk and roast
This event will take place at the The Stamford Bridge, where we will embark on a short walk around the roadside to help settle our dogs before heading inside for a delicious roast dinner. Please note that the cost of the food is not included in the service, as we focus on etiquette in real-world settings, especially around food. Your dogs will have the opportunity for a 30 minute year off lead play in our field after this service this is optional
