Our Day Train Service

Alpha B Dog Training’s Day Train Service offers a structured alternative to standard dog daycare, designed to support your dog’s behaviour, learning, and wellbeing while accommodating your busy lifestyle.

Service Features:

  • Led by experienced trainers

  • Available as full-day or half-day options to fit your schedule

  • Daily routines are customised based on your dog’s individual needs and the duration of their stay

Drop-Off and Pick-Up Times:

  • Full day: Drop-off 8:30–9:30 am, pick-up 5:00–6:00 pm

  • Morning half-day: Drop-off 8:30–9:30 am, pick-up 12:00–1:00 pm

  • Afternoon half-day: Drop-off 2:00–3:00 pm, pick-up 5:30–6:30 pm

Daily Activities Include:

  • Exposure to various environments such as cafés, public spaces, parks, and home settings to refine manners

  • Enrichment activities for suitable dogs (e.g., snuffle mats, scatter feeding, flirt pole, environmental stimulation)

  • Opportunities to remain calm around other dogs, with play and interaction when appropriate

  • Focus on basic training skills, as well as working towards specific goals you provide

  • Carefully balanced exercise and scheduled rest periods

Additional Support:

  • Administration of medication if required (to be booked in advance)

  • Transportation to appointments (e.g., vet, grooming, hydrotherapy, physiotherapy) available with advance booking and additional fees

  • Owners are responsible for all drop-offs and collections at the agreed location

  • Pet taxi service for collection/drop-off, and out-of-hours collection available at additional cost

This programme is a comprehensive and reliable approach, providing more structure and purpose than traditional dog daycare. It supports your training objectives while ensuring daily socialisation, exercise, and care, all tailored to fit seamlessly into a busy owner’s routine.

Terms and Conditions

For adhock bookings; £20 deposit will need paying within 12 hours of approval for each day this is non refundable and non transferable
Drop off 8:30-9:30am please specify if any time would suit you better otherwise I will designate a time upon approval of your session. If you need to drop off outside of these times please mention here.
Pick up time is between 5:30pm and 6:30 pm please specify if there is a time better for you if you need to pick up outside of these times please specify here to see if this is something we can offer You must pick up and drop off at your designated time.
There is a 10 minute window of discrepancy only. Pick up or drop off that are too early or too late may incur a £10 fee
Unless specified otherwise drop-off will be at our location in great Barrow
If you wish us to take your dog to any vet, swimming, or grooming appointments, please confirm with us beforehand. There is no cost for transportation, but you remain responsible for payment to the service provider All the relevant terms and conditions stated on our website apply to this service

**Terms and Conditions for Payment of Recurring Appointments with Samantha Jones, Head Trainer at Alpha B Dog Training**
1. **Payment Deadline**: Payment for services is due on agreed date of each month. Failure to make payment by this date may result in the cancellation of scheduled sessions for that month.
2. **Late Payments**: Repeated late payments will result in a review of your account and may lead to a refusal of future service.
3. **Deductions and Adjustments**: Any deductions for the month must be agreed upon before the payment month commences. In the event of last-minute reductions, such as cancellations due to illness (either on the part of Samantha or the client), the deduction will be applied to the following month's invoice at the discretion of Samantha, subject to mutual agreement with the client.
4. **Ongoing Bookings**: Payments cover ongoing bookings as outlined in this agreement. Any desired changes to the booking must be communicated with a minimum of five days' notice. Requests for changes made after payment are subject to Samantha’s discretion. If changes cannot be accommodated, the session may be forfeited.
5. **Non-refundable Payments**: All payments made are non-refundable.
6. **Mixing Days**:To mix and match Alpha B Dog Training sessions across different days, you need to purchase separate passes for weekdays and weekends. For example, if you want sessions every Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday, buy a two-day weekly pass for Monday to Thursday, and a one-day weekly pass for Friday to Sunday.
