Please note we do offer finance and payment plans on our board and train packages if you are having finance it is applied via clear pay and you will be required to set up your payments within 24 hours of your booking being confirmed

 

2 weeks £1400 first dog  (£100 per 24 hours) £1050 extra dog (£75 per 24hours)- deposit £700 per dog 

Suitable for puppies or top up training please note this is suitable for dogs without human or dog bite history

Suitable for dogs without serious behavioural issues, to lay important foundations for training, or as an initial “booster” to on going training please note this is suitable for dogs without human or dog bite history

For dogs who need some behavioural troubleshooting of issues and building obedience and engagement but have more complex emotional state or heightened aggression please note this is the only package suitable for dogs with a human bite history

* All of the above are examples of behaviours and training that the board and training service can be used for this is not an exhaustive list and we can help you with other behaviours if you are unsure which is going to be the most suitable duration for your dog please do get in touch

 


 

During your dog’s stay

  • Dogs live in a home environment as part of the trainer’s household, with individual care and attention.

  • Structured day-to-day routine is provided, with guidance to help owners maintain it after the dog returns home.

  • Dogs receive training inside the home, at our private field, and in various real-world public environments for a truly all-encompassing experience.

  • Minimum of one hour of physical exercise per day (unless medically unsuitable).

  • Frequent access to outdoor space throughout the day.

  • Dogs can live freely in the home with the trainer unless the customer requests otherwise.

  • Foundational skills will be put in place; a marker system will be set up or reinforced.

  • The trainer will work to rebalance the dog’s emotional state.

  • Observation for signs of pain/discomfort that may be affecting behaviour.

Communication and progress updates

  • Updates are sent every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, covering recent training, the plan going forward, and how the dog is getting on.

  • For stays longer than two weeks, owners receive a one-hour video call every two weeks to check progress and welfare.

  • You are welcome to text your trainer throughout the stay replies will be within 24 working hours 

Care standards, hygiene, and optional add-ons

  • Constant access to fresh water unless medically restricted.

  • Basic grooming and hygiene routines kept up to date.

  • Bedding and living space cleaned daily.

  • Food and water bowls cleaned daily.

  • Professional grooming can be arranged if needed, but the owner covers the cost.

  • Canine fitness and nutrition plan available if requested beforehand.

  • Adequate rest and recovery time is provided.

Aftercare and complimentary services

  • Dogs go home with high-value treats so owners can continue training immediately.

  • Comprehensive handover (1–3 hours depending on length of stay, complexity of behaviours, and individual requirements).

  • Training plan provided, including what to work on and an advised schedule for training and rest days.

  • 60-minute follow-up 1:1 session scheduled for one week after the training.

  • Two months of free, unlimited group services. Access included to the private field and obstacle equipment.

  • Coupon for 15% off five additional 1:1 follow-up sessions (on top of the already discounted package on the website).

  • Ongoing unlimited (within working hours) support via WhatsApp for as long as owners feel they need it.

 As the customer, you are responsible for

  1. Supplying full, accurate details on your dog’s health (current conditions, allergies, medication), behaviours (such as resource guarding, separation anxiety, or bite history even if minor), training history, and daily routines. 

  2. Ensuring the duration chosen including and extensions recommended are suitable for both yourself/s and your dog/s. Staff may make recommendations and provided reasoning but you must ensure the service and duration is suitable

  3. Providing your dog’s food, high-value treats, any medication (with clear instructions), and complete vet and insurance details where applicable. 

  4. Ensuring your nominated emergency contact(s), ideally at least two, local to the area, are able to assist swiftly if needed, particularly in case of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances.

  5. Supplying an itinerary of your dog’s belongings for a smooth return and notifying us of any belongings or comfort items with special importance.

  6. Being fully transparent about any behavioural or medical concerns so we can provide the best and safest experience for your dog; nothing will exclude you from service but undisclosed issues may jeopardise care.

  7. Acknowledging your dog may sometimes be left unattended for short periods (never exceeding four hours). 

  8. Ensuring that’s upon the dogs return home you are following all of the techniques methods and guidance given by your trainer in your training plan in order to produce sustainable results. Keeping them regular contact with trainers following these service and utilising all of the follow-up sessions is vital to ensure that results solidified when the dog/s returns home.

  9. Watching all video footage and reading written summaries sent whilst your dog is in the trainers care to ensure you are prepared for the return home.

  10. Notifying the trainer as early as possible if you wish to have any of the methods adapted or changed to suit your personal preference or your dog’s requirements during the stay 

 

Terms and conditions 

  • Deposits cannot be refunded or transferred under any circumstances. 

  • If you are late for pick-up, drop-off, or the handover session, additional fees may apply or service may be refused.

  • Owners are responsible for any damage caused by their dog during the programme unless due to our negligence, as well as providing all necessary supplies and ensuring arrangements for food, medication, and extra needs are made promptly. 

  • Changes to diet or supplements may be recommended in your dog’s best interests; you may be asked to provide or fund these if required. Refusal to meet these needs may result in your dog’s care being transferred to your emergency contact.

  • Any outstanding balance must be paid in full before or at beginning of your service and this also remains fully non refundable once the service has began including if the service needs to be terminated early 

  • Alpha B Dog Training cannot provide any guarantees regarding the outcomes of our training. Success is influenced by various factors, including your commitment to implementing the recommended methods and techniques once your dog returns home. We take pride in our high success rate and are dedicated to offering ongoing support to help you achieve the best results. To ensure effectiveness, we encourage you to follow our guidance and stay in contact throughout the training process. Thank you for your understanding.

Formal Complaints Process for Alpha B Dog Training 

 

At Alpha B Dog Training, we strive to provide the highest quality of service. However, should any issues arise, we have established the following formal complaints process for our Board and Train service:

 

1. Initial Complaint Resolution: 

   - If you are dissatisfied with our service, please first address your concerns with the member of staff who provided the service. This can include discussions about your dog's training and any follow-up support needed.

 

2. Escalation to Management:

   - If the issue remains unresolved after speaking with the initial staff member, you may escalate your complaint to management. The management contact will be Samantha Jones, the Head Trainer and Founder of Alpha B Dog Training.

 

3. Submission of Formal Complaint:

   - Please submit your formal complaint via email, detailing the nature of your grievance. Include any relevant documentation and evidence that supports your claim, adhering to our terms and conditions.

 

4. Response Timeline: 

   - Upon receiving your complaint, we will aim to provide you with a resolution within ten working days. You will receive our findings and decision via email.

 

5. Appeal Process:

   - If you disagree with the outcome of your complaint, you have the option to appeal through a Small Claims Court. 

 

6. Evidence Requirements:

   - When lodging a complaint, please ensure that you provide sufficient evidence to demonstrate that the trainer did not meet reasonable efforts in achieving success with your dog. This includes evidence that any follow-up support promised—such as communication via messages or phone calls, a free handover session, and discounted follow-up sessions—was not utilised or provided as promised.

 

7. Important Clarification: 

   - Please be reminded that Alpha B Dog Training does not offer a guarantee of results. It is essential that all training tools and methods provided by us during the Board and Train service are fully utilised to ensure continued progress upon returning home.
